Most of the balance changes look good to me. Persians are an overall nice civ to play, they just lacked a little bit, to make them more competitive.įrank losing +HP in dark age. I really like the Persian +5% working speed in Dark Age. We will see this one though, I am really curious, how it works out. I expect that feudal TCs and Siege would be quite situational, but thats completely fine. Building a TC is a huge investment, which pays off only quite a bit later. If you manage to pump out a Ram, it can soak up lot of arrow fire, but you still have to protect it from melee attack, so you will need army to defend it. Remember, the building itself is very costly for a weak feudal economy, not to mention the rams. I dont think that a Siege Workshop and Rams are that insanely overpowered in the feudal age. If it is balanced correctly, then it can make a real difference (like Bloodlines does), then it can be used as a means of balancing, and can make up for the lack of Bloodlines for some civs. Funny that it has made it now, when I am not there. I have always wanted to get through something like that while I was on the dev team. 93.47 120,559 6,657 12,352 In-Game Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition features The Last Khans with 3 new campaigns and 4 new Civilizations.
